Topic 01

Materials and Roofing

What roofing materials do you install?

Architectural and three-tab asphalt shingles (GAF and CertainTeed are our two go-to brands), standing-seam and stone-coated metal, concrete and clay tile, EPDM and TPO for flat roofs, plus skylights and solar tubes. At the free inspection we'll walk you through which makes sense for your house, your HOA, and your budget.

How long will my roof replacement take?

Most Frederick homes are torn off and reroofed in one to three days. A 2,000 square foot ranch usually wraps in a day. A complex two-story with multiple valleys runs two to three. You get the actual start and finish dates in writing before we order materials.

What warranties come with the roof?

Two layers. The manufacturer covers materials (up to 50 years on premium GAF and CertainTeed systems, transferable to the next homeowner). We cover workmanship in writing. Both are handed to you on paper at close-out, not buried in fine print.

How often should I have my roof inspected?

Once a year is the baseline. Always after a big wind or hail event. Frederick gets pounded by spring storms, so a 15-minute check in April can save you a $15,000 deck repair in July. Our inspections are free, even if we don't end up doing the work.
Topic 02

Insurance and Storm Damage

Will you handle my storm or hail insurance claim?

Yes. We have a Maryland-licensed public adjuster on staff. He documents the damage with drone photos and a measured report, files the claim with your carrier, and negotiates the payout. Most homeowners pay $0 out of pocket beyond their deductible.

My insurance carrier said there's no damage. Now what?

Happens all the time. The carrier's adjuster spent eight minutes on your roof and missed half the hail strikes. Our licensed adjuster comes out, re-documents the roof to industry standards, and files a supplement or reinspection request. About 70 percent of the denials we re-open end up approved.
Topic 03

Pricing and Financing

Do you offer financing for a new roof?

Yes, through our partner HFS Financial. Loans run from $2,000 to $500,000, and the pre-qualification on their site is a soft pull (no impact on your credit score). Full details on our Financing page.

What does a new roof actually cost in Frederick?

Ballpark, a 2,000 square foot asphalt shingle roof in Frederick County runs $8,500 to $25,000. The spread depends on shingle grade, layers being torn off, deck condition, and pitch. Our Pricing page breaks it down by service, and the Instant Quote tool gets you a number for your specific address in 60 seconds.

About the Company

Where do you actually work?

Home base is Frederick, MD. We regularly drive out to Hagerstown, Mount Airy, Westminster, Urbana, Leesburg, Winchester, and across the Potomac into Charles Town. Anywhere within about an hour of Frederick, you're in our service map.

Why pick EZ over the big national roofers?

Three reasons most of our customers tell us. One: you talk to the same project manager from quote through final invoice, not a call center. Two: every estimate is itemized in plain English so you can see what you're paying for. Three: we live here. If a shingle blows off in year four, we're a 20-minute drive away, not a 1-800 number.
Free. No Obligation.
